Because of these contributions, birds are considered protected by laws and regulations that dictates what kind of bird control can be implemented.

The secret to controlling birds is to deny them places to land and nest in or around your structure. Another method of controlling birds is to trap the birds, but this causes adverse effects. Evidence of Birds

The most obvious sign is actually seeing the bird flying around or resting on your home, you may also witness the bird entering your house through an entry point. Another indication is you may also notice their droppings on the side of your house or on the ground beneath the entry point.

If the birds have nested within your home or structure, you will also be able to hear them and possibly see their nests.

Expert Pest Bird Program

On the first visit our service professional will locate the bird activity. If accessible, the service professional will remove birds and nesting material.

He may also treat for bird mites & seal entry points to prohibit future bird infestations.

Your program may require additional visits which include closing all entry points to the structure to assure complete results.

This program includes 1 (one) 2×2 ft area if the pro can safely reach the entry point.

With this program you will receive a written 30 day warranty from the completion date.

In the event, the inspection concludes that the problem is NOT starlings or sparrows; there will be a $75 inspection fee. However, if you agree to the new service that our professional offers for that pest, the fee will be credited towards that service.

BIRDS IN VENTS:

If the bird is in a dryer vent or a bathroom fan vent we can service it.

We do not service any vents that are connected to kitchen hoods.

We will come out and perform a complete inspection to locate all active and nesting areas. We will then attempt to remove as much of the nesting material from the vent as much as we can reach. Depending on the way your vent is designed, we may not be able to reach to it or completely remove all of the debris. You may need to hire someone to remove the duct work to remove the rest of the nesting material. This is not included in the price. We are not responsible for anything we cannot reach. We will then treat for bird mites as necessary. We will then replace the vent with a covered one so birds cannot get inside.

This replacement vent is warrantied for one year.

**Please Note:If your problem is with Chimney Swifts or Barn Swallows, you must call a chimney company or a contractor to install a chimney cap after the birds have left for the season. This will prevent them from returning in the spring. Chimney Swifts and Barn Swallows are a protected species.

IN THE EVENT YOU NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT, PLEASE LET US KNOW NO LATER THAN 4:00 THE PRIOR DAY OTHERWISE YOU WILL INCUR A SERVICE CALL FEE IF NO ONE IS THERE OR REFUSES SERVICE.

Preventative Programs

Expert Pest Management offers various types of Preventative Programs to fit all of your pest control needs.

Quarterly

Our quarterly program is ideal because it provides the most protection against insects and rodents.

Expert will apply liquid treatments in and around your structure 4 times a year.

There are two interior treatment in summer and winter, with the winter treatment receiving an attic inspection.

There are two exterior treatments, spring and fall with the fall receiving rodent inspection along the foundation and appropriate sealing of entry points.

Seasonal

Expert will apply liquid treatments in and around your structure 3 times a year.

There is one interior treatment in summer.

There are two exterior treatments, spring and fall with the fall receiving rodent inspection along the foundation and appropriate sealing of entry points.

Residential Monthly

While our Quarterly Program is normally sufficient, there are some pest issues that require more visits, such as cockroaches. Our Residential Monthly service is designed to offer you year-round protection from even the most persistent of pests.
